Viepn
The Internet is becoming more and more harmful with information constantly being leaked and the need for a safe internet space increasing. Viepn is a project about redesigning Virtual Private Network, the service that helps you stay private online. After researching the existing apps with pros and cons, there are 3 things Viepn improves from other apps.

Diversity in subscription packages
The information is displayed just enough so that users can choose the option they want without spending too much time
Applying the use of motion and gestures in actions in the app

Home
In terms of information, the home page includes the map, the start button, and the location of the server the user is connecting to. The information selection popup will open when pressing the current location block or the see more button.
The purpose of showing the PING number after each location server is so that users have information to compare with other servers, but it doesn't take too much time like comparing downloads and uploads.
Besides the basic gestures like zoom in, and zoom out to choose the location, Viepn applies the use of double tap gesture to make the user experience easier. Specifically, several locations are close to each other on the map, zooming in and then selecting the location will cause the user to take more steps. The double tap gesture can make the experience simpler by switching to the nearest new location every time the double tap is on the edge of the phone screen.

Store
Most VPN applications are usually paid, that information is important, and therefore it should be placed in the footer. To attract more users, especially short-term users, there should be diversity in service packages. For Viepn, trial users can buy a one-week plan or one-time plan according to the location they want.

Statistic & Account
Besides the service-related pages, there will be statistics pages and account pages to manage and statistics the use of the app by users.

Onboarding
In addition, due to the improvements in UX/UI, it is significant to show the onboarding part for first-time users to the app to help users know the change and apply it for a better app experience.
